Job summary

RecruitShop in Sydney is seeking a hands-on Warehouse & Installations Assistant to support deliveries, collections and basic shopfitting tasks on residential kitchen projects.

The role offers real on-the-job training with a potential Carpentry Apprenticeship pathway, requiring a current manual driver’s licence and a practical, team‑oriented attitude. You will handle loading and unloading, drive to sites, move cabinetry and materials, and assist the installation team with basic tasks.

Qualifications

• A current Manual Driver's Licence is required.
• Interest in hands-on work, carpentry, or kitchen installations.
• Confidence using basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to safely undertake physical and manual work.
• Reliable, practical and willing to learn attitude.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team.
• No formal experience required; opportunity to pursue Carpentry Apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general warehouse duties and keep work areas organised.
• Drive to residential sites to collect old kitchens and cupboards.
• Transport removed cabinetry and materials back to the warehouse.
• Deliver new kitchens, cupboards, and materials to customer sites.
• Assist the installation team with basic shopfitting and renovation tasks.
• Use basic hand and power tools to assist with works as required.
• Load and unload cabinetry, materials and equipment as required.
• Support the wider team with general day-to-day duties when required.

About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to support the warehouse and installation team with deliveries, collections, general warehouse duties, and basic shopfitting work.
