Job summary

Green Leaves Early Learning – North Shore QLD is seeking a kitchen assistant with strong food safety knowledge to maintain a clean, safe kitchen and assist the Centre Chef. The role supports daily operations and ensures smooth service across shifts from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Candidates must hold a current Food Safety Certificate, Working with Children Check, safeguarding training, First Aid/ CPR, and a recent Police Clearance. Availability of 20–25 hours weekly required.

Qualifications

• Mandatory food safety certification and up-to-date police clearance.
• Working with children checks and safeguarding training required.
• First Aid and CPR certification must be current and valid.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen in line with Food and Council Authority requirements and Green Leaves Early Learning Standards.
• Assist the Centre Chef and support daily kitchen operations to run smoothly.
