Job summary

Green Leaves Early Learning – Mickleham VIC is seeking a kitchen support role to assist the Centre Chef in preparing nutritious meals, purees, and dietary accommodations for babies and children. You will greet families with a warm smile and may provide barista-made coffees and fresh treats.

Responsibilities include running culinary classes with Educators, maintaining rigorous food safety standards, and ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly through effective time management and communication.

Qualifications

• Current Food Safety Certificate.
• Current and State-relevant Working with Children's Check.
• Current Child Protection and National Child Safety Training Certificates.
• Current First Aid and CPR (HLTAID012).
• National Police Clearance obtained in the last 6 months.

About You:

• Current Food Safety Certificate
• Current and State-relevant Working with Children's Check
• Current Child Protection and National Child Safety Training Certificates
• Current First Aid and CPR (HLTAID012)
• National Police Clearance obtained in the last 6 months
• Availability to work 20-25 hours per week
• The willingness to step up into the Chef's role when they are absent from the Centre from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
