Job summary

Vikings Group in Canberra is seeking an experienced Kitchen Hand to support the head chef and kitchen team in a fast-paced venue at Erindale. You will help with food preparation, cleaning, and dishwashing to ensure smooth service.

This casual or permanent role offers learning opportunities, progression, and a friendly, inclusive work environment. Australian working rights are required, and a rotating roster with split shifts.

Qualifications

• Be a team player with a keen eye for detail.
• Able to take direction in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleaning and clearing of the kitchen, including dishes and floors.
• Assist in food preparation tasks and basic meal assembly.
• Manage stock rotation and ad hoc duties as required by Chefs and Management.
• Understand WHS and food safety requirements.
• Operate a commercial dishwasher to a high standard.
