Job summary

Wests Group Macarthur is seeking dedicated Kitchen Hands to join our kitchen team across four venues, including Wests League Club, The Sherwood, Country Club Gledswood Hills and Lakeside Golf Club. You will wash pots, cutlery, crockery, pans and equipment, and maintain a clean, hygienic kitchen with proper storage of items and chemicals.

Training is provided as development is valued; shifts are varied and roster is available three weeks in advance.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Kitchen Hand in a high volume kitchen.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Adherence to food standards, procedures, WHS and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Wash pots, cutlery, crockery, pans and equipment.
• Keep the kitchen and all equipment clean and hygienic.
• Ensure all areas in the kitchen are tidy with proper storage of equipment and chemicals.

Wests Group Macarthur is looking for dedicated and energetic Kitchen Hands to join our Kitchen team across our 4 standout local venues - Wests League Club, The Sherwood, Country Club Gledswood Hills and Lakeside Golf Club.

You'll play a key role behind the scenes, actively contributing to kitchen operations by washing all pots, cutlery, crockery, pans and equipment. You will keep our large commercial kitchen and all equipment clean and hygienic and ensure all areas in the kitchen are kept tidy with appropriate storage of equipment and chemicals.

Training is provided, as development is important to us. We pay above the award wage, provide your roster 3 weeks in advance and have many shifts and opportunities available.

To Be Successful You Will Have The Following

• Full working rights in Australia.
• Flexibility to work our operational hours including nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Availability to work across our core business hours - Thursday to Sunday.
• Experience as a Kitchen Hand within a high volume kitchen.
• Ability to multi-task under pressure.
• Strong adherence to food standards, operating procedures, WHS and regulatory guidelines.
• Ability to follow reasonable directions.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Have the physical capacity to carry out the inherent requirements of the role.
• Have a current Driver's License.
