Job summary

Greenbank Rsl Services Club Inc is seeking a reliable Kitchenhand to join our busy kitchen team. You will work in either a café kitchen or the larger production kitchen, supporting food preparation, cleaning, and stock control while maintaining high hygiene standards.

Applicants should be able to work nights and weekends and be physically fit, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced venue. Hygiene for Food Handlers certification is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a kitchen environment.
• Hygiene for Food Handlers Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in the fast paced environment of either a café kitchen or large production kitchen.
• Clean all kitchenware, equipment and utensils.
• Dispose of waste and sort recycled items.
• Demonstrate hygienic and safe work practices.
• Responsible for stock control and food storage.
• Assist with food preparation as directed.
• Perform other duties as requested.

About The Role

In this role, you will also be required to undertake the following duties:

• Working in the fast paced environment of either a café kitchen or large production kitchen
• Cleaning of all kitchenware, equipment and utensils
• Disposal of all waste and sorting of recycled items
• Demonstration of hygienic and safe work practices
• Responsible for strict stock control and food storage
• Food preparation as directed
• Other duties as requested
