Job summary

Lowes Petroleum in regional Australia is hiring a casual Kitchenhand for our Service Station in Blackall. You’ll help stock supplies, handle kitchen duties, and serve coffee and food while keeping the store clean.

You’ll be on your feet, run the till, and assist with in-store promotions. Training is provided; accommodation or sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Food safety or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills with proficiency in English.
• Be the face of Lowes for our customers.
• Friendly, energetic and approachable with a strong customer service focus.
• Confident to implement in-store promotions.
• Training provided.

Responsibilities

• Stock supplies and keep the kitchen area tidy.
• Perform kitchen duties and assist with food preparation.
• Serve coffee and food to customers and operate the till as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness and orderly presentation.

About the Role

We are looking for a casual Kitchenhands to join our Service Station based at Blackall. Some console and till work may be required.

As a Kitchenhand, you’ll spend a lot of time on your feet keeping supplies stocked, kitchen duties and serving coffee and food, running the till and keeping the store clean and tidy, because you know it’s the little details that add up to a great customer experience.

Skills and Experience required

• Food safety or Hospitality experience is preferable
• Effective communication skills with a proficiency in English
• Be the face of Lowes for our customers
• Friendly, energetic and approachable with a natural ability for great customer
  service
• Confidence to implement in-store promotions
• Training provided
