Job summary

Chat Thai Cbd Pty Ltd is seeking a Kitchen Hand to keep Sydney kitchens clean and organized while assisting chefs with prep. This role supports busy lunch and dinner services across shifts.

Ideal candidates are hardworking, reliable and able to work quickly in a fast-paced environment. Full working rights in Australia and a team-oriented attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen or hospitality is a plus.
• Hardworking, reliable and punctual.
• Able to work quickly and stay organised in a busy kitchen.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
• Willing to work across days, nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots, utensils and kitchen equipment.
• Keep the kitchen, benches, floors and storage areas clean and tidy.
• Help with basic food prep, such as washing, peeling and cutting vegetables and herbs.
• Receive, unpack and put away deliveries, and rotate stock.
• Take out rubbish and recycling, and keep waste areas clean.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and WHS procedures.
• Support the chefs during busy lunch and dinner services.

• Keep the kitchen, benches, floors and storage areas clean and tidy
• Help with basic food prep, such as washing, peeling and cutting vegetables and herbs

About you

• Previous kitchen hand or hospitality experience is a plus, but not essential
• Hardworking, reliable and punctual
• Able to work quickly and stay organised in a busy kitchen
• Physically fit and comfortable standing for long periods and lifting
• A team player with a positive attitude
• Availability across days, nights, weekends and public holidays
• Full working rights in Australia
