Yakiniku Hibiki is a popular Japanese BBQ restaurant located in Mango Hill. We pride ourselves on offering delicious food and exceptional dining experiences.

We are currently looking for an energetic, reliable, and hardworking Kitchen Hand / Dishwasher to join our team. Whether you have experience or are eager to start your kitchen career, we provide full training and a supportive environment.

Shift Hours & Schedule:

We operate with clear, consistent shift patterns across the week:

• Monday to Thursday (Dinner only): 3:30 PM – 9:30 PM
• Friday to Sunday (Split shift):
  • Lunch: 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • Break: 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM
  • Dinner: 4:30 PM – 9:30 PM

(Roster flexibility and shift allocations will be discussed during the interview).

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating commercial dishwashers and hand-washing pots, pans, and tableware
• Assisting chefs with basic prep tasks (ingredient handling, portioning, etc.)
• Maintaining strict hygiene and cleanliness across all kitchen stations
• Waste disposal, floor sweeping/mopping, and closing kitchen sanitation
• Working efficiently alongside the kitchen team during peak rushes

What We Are Looking For:

• Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and ready to work in a fast-paced kitchen
• Availability: Able to work dinner shifts and weekend shifts (lunch/dinner)
• Team Player: Positive attitude, proactive mindset, and good communication skills
• Experience: Previous hospitality experience is valued, but beginners are welcome — full training is provided!
• Work Rights: Valid Australian work rights (e.g., Working Holiday, Student Visa, PR/Citizen)
