Job summary

ALH Hotels is seeking a Kitchen Attendant for Wilsonton Hotel in Queensland. You will support kitchen operations, assist with food prep, and help maintain cleanliness and safety standards in a fast-paced pub kitchen.

You can thrive in a busy team, show attention to detail, and adapt to flexible day, evening, and weekend shifts. This role offers opportunities within the Endeavour Group network and a collaborative workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform routine kitchen tasks with accuracy.
• Willingness to work across day/evening shifts, including weekends.
• Capable of working independently or as part of a team with a positive attitude.

A day in the life of a Kitchen Attendant:

• Engage in food preparation and additional tasks as directed by your team leader
• Proactively identify and address cleaning opportunities in all areas of the kitchen in line with our high food and safety standards
• Contribute positively to our culture of responsibility, which is centred around safety and procedural compliance

Qualifications

About you:

• You love working independently or as part of a team to perform routine tasks
• You have flexible availability across the day, evenings and weekends
• You are all about the detail and take pride in the work that you deliver
• You’ll be yourself and come as you are - ALH is known for its people!

Inherent requirements:

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
