The role of a Kitchen Attendant in an Aged Care facility is busy, varied and rewarding.

Part-time position available – Thursday and Friday, 7:30 am to 3:00 pm, with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts.

You will be required to:

• Assist with basic food preparation and meal presentation.
• Assist with setting up for meal service and cleaning down afterwards.
• Maintain a clean, safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
• Wash dishes and assist with general kitchen duties.
• Work as part of a friendly team to ensure meals are prepared and served to a high standard.
• Provide friendly and respectful service to residents when required.

Prior hospitality or kitchen experience is highly valued but not mandatory, as training will be provided. A certificate in food safety is recommended. Additionally, you will be required to hold a Police Check and comply with all relevant requirements of the aged care facility at which you work.
