Caption by Hyatt Central Sydney is seeking a friendly Kitchen Assistant/ Kitchen Hand to join our kitchen team. This part-time role offers AM/PM shifts and a rotating roster, with responsibilities across food prep, maintaining cleanliness, and stock management.

You will work in a fast-paced hospitality environment, supporting chefs and service staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences while upholding Hyatt's hygiene and quality standards.

Qualifications

We're looking for a Kitchen Assistant/ Kitchen Hand to join our friendly and supportive kitchen team. *Please not this is a part‑time position, ideally you'll have AM/ PM availability.

What Your Day Might Look Like

• Assist kitchen and service staff in the restaurant in delivering exceptional dining experience.
• Maintain the highest level of operations by ensuring all areas and equipment are clean and organised, exceeding hygiene standards.
• You may assist chefs for simple mis-en-plus
• Effectively manage stock to minimise waste and optimise kitchen resources
