Paradise Point Bowls Club is seeking an aspiring chef to contribute to meal preparation and kitchen operations. This role offers hands-on experience in a busy hospitality setting, supporting the Head Chef and fellow team members to deliver high-quality dishes.

You will learn recipes, food safety practices, and efficient service in a friendly, team-focused environment on the Gold Coast. Training is available as you grow your culinary skills.

Qualifications

• Passion for food and a desire to learn and grow as a chef.
• Experience in a commercial kitchen or culinary training.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work well in a team and under pressure.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to providing high-quality customer service.
• Second year and beyond Apprentice's are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Head Chef and other chefs in preparing high-quality dishes.
• Following recipes and kitchen procedures to ensure consistency and food safety.
• Maintaining a clean and organised workstation.
• Helping with food preparation tasks such as chopping, dicing, and portioning.
• Collaborating with the team to ensure efficient and timely service.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations in the kitchen.
