Job summary

Belgravia Leisure is seeking Café/Kiosk Attendants at NSW Whitlam Leisure Centre in Liverpool 2170 to deliver first-class service to members and visitors. You will help maintain the café, handle cash, and assist with promotions of centre programs.

The role requires friendly, energetic individuals with barista skills, food safety knowledge, and flexibility to work mornings, evenings and weekends. Training and ongoing development are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in cafe/barista and cash handling.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Customer-focused with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all customers.
• Maintain appearance and presentation of the cafe.
• Replenish condiments as needed.
• Follow health and safety guidelines.
• Cashier duties including taking orders and cash handling.
• Use Point of Sale (POS) systems accurately.
• Promote centre services and programs to patrons.
• Develop and maintain good working relations with patrons.
• Provide information on product range, including healthy options.
• Able to work mornings, evenings and weekends; hours may increase during peak periods.

The Role

OurCafé/Kiosk Attendantsneed to have the highest level of customer service skills.

The primary responsibility of ourCafé/Kiosk Attendantsis to deliver first class services to ourpatrons ensuring it’s in line with ourMission, Vision and Values.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Provide excellent customer service to all customers
• Maintaining the appearance and presentation of the café
• Replenished condiments as needed
• Follow health and safety guidelines
• Cashier experience, taking orders and handling cash
• Apply sound cash handling principals and use of Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Promotethe centres services and programs to ourpatrons
• Develop and maintain good working relations with patrons
• Provide information on our product range, including promoting healthy food options
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends. Hours may increase during the centre's peak periods

Skills & Attributes

• Positive, friendly, helpful and energetic work style
• Coffee making/ barista skills
• Food handling Certificate
• Current First Aid Certificate (Workplace Level 2).
• Current CPR Certificate.

Previous experience is a similar role is desirable, but candidates with a friendly attitude and a customer service mindset areencouraged to apply!
