Wyndham City Council is seeking an experienced Team Leader - Early Education and Care Services to provide operational and pedagogical leadership across the municipality’s kindergarten services. You will oversee day-to-day service management and lead educators to deliver high-quality family-centered education and care.

As the Nominated Supervisor, you will drive educational quality, safety, rostering, enrolments, financial administration and community engagement, supported by the Area Leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) or Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or other ACECQA qualification
• Valid Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
• Demonstrated leadership experience as Nominated Supervisor/Educational Leader, with responsibility for service operations and staff development
• Experience guiding educators and shaping policy in early years settings
• Strong understanding of local/state/ Commonwealth guidelines and regulatory compliance

Responsabilités

• Lead and supervise teachers, educators and volunteers at Wyndham’s kindergarten service
• Rostering and staffing, including authorising timesheets and staff meetings
• Provide guidance and support to parents and staff in complex situations
• Manage reporting and financial operations of the service for senior leaders
• Deliver insights on current trends in early years education and implement with unit goals
• Contribute to continuous improvement across service delivery and community engagement
