Georges River Council is seeking a Coordinator (Director) Early Learning Services to lead the South Hurstville Kindergarten and associated services. You will oversee education programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement while supporting educators to thrive.

The role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge and budget management, with a focus on child safety, inclusion and high-quality outcomes for children and families.

Qualifikationen

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Early Childhood Education, Teaching or a related discipline.
• Current Working with Children Check and Child Protection, First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications.
• Sound knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, National Quality Framework, National Quality Standard and Early Years Learning Framework.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in an early childhood education and care setting.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor and develop teams to deliver high-quality education and care.
• Experience managing staff performance, service operations and budgets.
• Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Commitment to child safety, inclusion and continuous improvement, underpinned by the Child Safe Standards.

Aufgaben

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the Early Learning Service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education and care for children and families.
• Undertake the role of Nominated Supervisor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement, including the Service's Quality Improvement Plan.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with families, community stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
• Contribute to strategic planning, operational planning and budget development.
• Champion child-safe practices, inclusion and wellbeing across the service.
