Job summary

Uniting Early Learning Kirwan is seeking a dedicated educator to deliver a high-quality kindergarten program and support school readiness. You will create engaging play-based learning experiences and observe children's progress to inform practice.

You will lead and mentor staff, build strong relationships with families and the local community, and maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment that puts children first.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in early childhood education or equivalent as approved by ACECQA.
• Completed Accredited Child Protection Training (Mandatory).
• Blue Card (Child Related Employment).
• First Aid, CPR, and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high-quality kindergarten program that supports children's learning, development and school readiness.
• Create engaging play-based learning experiences that inspire curiosity and a love of learning.
• Observe, assess and document children's learning and progress.
• Lead and support educators within the room to achieve positive outcomes for children.
• Build strong relationships with children, families and the wider community.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
