Job summary

Uniting Early Learning Kirwan is a not-for-profit community-based childcare centre seeking an enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator to deliver a high-quality kindergarten program for 44 places. You will observe and document children’s progress, plan play-based experiences and support a team of educators to foster learning and development in a caring environment.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s in ECE or equivalent, Accredited Child Protection Training, Blue Card and First Aid/CPR, Asthma &

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or equivalent, as approved by ACECQA.
Completed Accredited Child Protection Training (Mandatory).
Blue Card (Child Related Employment).
First Aid, CPR, and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications.

Responsibilities

Deliver a high-quality kindergarten program that supports children's learning, development and school readiness.
Create engaging play-based learning experiences that inspire curiosity and a love of learning.
Observe, assess and document children's learning and progress.
Lead and support educators within the room to achieve positive outcomes for children.
Build strong relationships with children, families and the wider community.
Maintain a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
