Job summary

Noah's Ark is seeking a casual Kindergarten Inclusion Support (KIS) Assistant to join our team in Kyabram. You will assist with creating an inclusive environment in local kindergartens, supporting staff, and addressing the individual needs of children, including those with additional support needs.

The role offers casual hours and a clear path to meaningful community impact. Applicants should be comfortable with confidentiality and working both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience working with preschool children and/or in a preschool setting would be an advantage.
• To be successful, you:
• Develop relationships with children that are supportive and responsive to their individual needs.
• Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Understand the need maintain confidentiality and privacy
• Relate to others with kindness, respect, and positivity.

Responsibilities

• Support the kindergarten’s teaching staff to provide an environment that is responsive to the individual strengths, abilities, and interests of all children, including those with a disability, additional support needs and/or complex medical needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure inclusive learning experiences for all children.
• Contribute to a safe, welcoming, and confidential work environment.
