Whitehorse City Council seeks an Early Childhood Teacher to lead a vibrant kindergarten program in a long day care setting. You will inspire curiosity and design responsive curricula while collaborating with families and professionals.

You will plan, document and evaluate children's learning, assess development, mentor educators, and contribute to the centre's Quality Improvement Plan. Victorian teaching registration is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Early Childhood (or ACECQA-approved equivalent) required.
• VIT registration required for teaching in Victoria.
• Current First Aid/CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates.
• National Criminal History Check completed.
• Commitment to child safety and well-being.

Responsabilités

• Lead a high-quality kindergarten program within a long day care setting.
• Plan, document and evaluate children's learning aligned to VEYLDF/NQF.
• Assess individual learning and scaffold development.
• Build partnerships with families and professionals.
• Mentor educators and students in pedagogical practice.
• Contribute to Quality Improvement Plan and service promotion.
