Job summary

St Joseph’s Primary Finley, part of the Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga, seeks a Classroom Teacher for maternity leave. You will deliver engaging lessons, align with curriculum standards, and support student development in a faith‑based community.

You will work with a supportive team, engage with families, and uphold Catholic ethos while delivering high-quality education in a rural NSW context.

Qualifications

• Willingness to identify with and support the Catholic ethos of the school.
• Strong interpersonal skills with students and adults.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the English and Maths curriculum and effective pedagogy.
• Demonstrate drive and commitment to developing an excellent learning experience for students.
• Able to manage behaviour positively and restoratively.
• Show flexibility and cooperation in a team environment.
• NSW Working with Children Check is required.
• NSW NESA Accreditation is required or willing to achieve.
• Accreditation for Teachers in a Catholic School (Cat B) or willingness to obtain it.
