Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga is inviting expressions of interest for casual relief teachers at St Francis De Sales Regional College, Leeton. CRTs are engaged casually to temporarily replace absent teachers and to deliver the curriculum provided while upholding the school's pastoral duties.

Qualifications

  • A university degree in the relevant faculty discipline or equivalent with associated qualifications in Education.
  • Current First Aid
  • NESA Teacher Registration
  • Current NSW Working With Children Check
  • High levels of classroom competence
  • Knowledge of the NSW Curriculum
  • Knowledge of the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers
  • A high standard of organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic team environment and proven ability to relate to staff, students and parents
  • An ability to integrate and utilise ICT effectively within the classroom
  • A Cover Letter of no more than one page outlining why you are applying for the position and what you will bring to the position;
  • A supporting document of no more than two pages addressing the criteria for the position
  • A resume of no more than two pages

Your New Role

Casual relief teachers (CRT’s) are engaged on a casual basis to temporarily replace absent teachers. Their primary responsibilities are to deliver the curriculum material provided by the absent teacher and to provide a duty of care to the students in the absence of the regular teacher.

Selection Criteria
