Wunan Foundation is a leading Aboriginal development organisation based in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. The Coordinator role supports the Journey to Empowerment Program in Kununurra, WA, coordinating daily operations and mentoring staff to provide consistent client support.

The position emphasizes strong communication, community familiarity, and adherence to child safe and code of conduct requirements, with opportunities to grow within a values-driven Indigenous organisation.

Qualifications

• Coordination or case management experience.
• Strong organisational skills.
• DEX familiarity or experience.
• Ability to supervise staff and mentor others.
• Cultural competence and respectful engagement with communities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate schedules, client support activities and program logistics.
• Support preparation of Activity Work Plan Reports, Performance Reports and DEX submissions.
• Supervise Mentors and review case notes and data quality.
• Assist with compliance tasks, including CB9 Child Safe documentation.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, families and partner agencies.
