Job description

Kia Sales & Business Development Manager

Whether it’s giving your all at Suncorp Stadium, or going above and beyond in schools, we don’t just play for a club, we play for a community, and a proud one at that. One that every single one of us wears on our sleeves, every single day. We’re much more than a world-class sporting organisation and the biggest sports brand in Australia, we’re a team.

Pride, performance, people and joy are at the heart of everything we do and that’s why things are done differently here, it’s how we inspire and excite. Whatever field of work we’re in, we always leave it all out there.

The Brisbane Broncos are seeking a Kia Sales & Business Development Manager to drive vehicle sales growth through our major partnership with Kia Australia, converting the Club’s extensive corporate networks, member base and partnership opportunities into measurable commercial results.

How you can play a part

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Sales, this is a hands‑on commercial role responsible for developing and converting fleet, business, member and employee vehicle sales opportunities. Working closely with Kia Australia, its dealer network and key Brisbane Broncos stakeholders, you will drive new business development, manage sales opportunities and maximise the commercial value of the partnership.

This will include:

  • Developing and executing an annual sales and business development plan aligned with agreed vehicle sales, pipeline and conversion targets.

  • Proactively identifying and securing fleet and business sales opportunities through the Broncos’ corporate partners, hospitality clients and broader business networks.

  • Building relationships with business owners, executives, procurement professionals and fleet decision‑makers to identify customer needs and develop qualified sales opportunities.

  • Coordinating vehicle demonstrations, test drives and customer evaluations, working with Kia’s sales teams and dealer network to progress opportunities through to sale.

  • Establishing and managing dedicated Kia vehicle programs for Brisbane Broncos members and employees, including targeted campaigns, exclusive offers and engagement initiatives.

  • Leveraging Brisbane Broncos partnership assets, home games, corporate events and digital channels to generate qualified leads and measurable sales outcomes.

  • Managing relationships with Kia dealers to ensure effective lead referrals, consistent customer experiences and strong sales conversion.

  • Maintaining accurate CRM records, sales pipelines and forecasts, providing regular reporting and commercial recommendations to Kia Australia and the Brisbane Broncos.

  • Collaborating with internal marketing, membership, digital and commercial teams to develop effective sales campaigns, customer journeys and promotional activity.

To be considered

To be considered for this opportunity you will have:

  • Ideally 5+ years' experience in automotive fleet sales, dealership fleet management, OEM sales, automotive account management or a comparable B2B sales environment.

  • Demonstrated success in generating new business, managing complex sales cycles and converting commercially significant sales opportunities.

  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and a proactive approach to prospecting, account development and achieving sales targets.

  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence senior business owners, executives, procurement professionals and fleet decision‑makers.

  • Strong CRM, sales pipeline management, forecasting and reporting capabilities, with a disciplined and data‑driven approach.

  • Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple organisations and external partners.

  • A self‑motivated, results‑focused and professional approach, with sound judgement regarding customer relationships, confidentiality and brand reputation.

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Marketing or a related discipline is desirable, along with experience in automotive dealer networks, commercial partnerships or customer activation programs.

Note: Applicants must hold full Australian working rights to be considered for this position. All applicants must also hold a current Drivers License, Blue Card and/or WWCC to be considered. Please clearly articulate this in your application.

At the Broncos, we’re committed to creating a workplace where our people feel supported, valued and connected to both one another and the impact we make on and off the field.

Some of our many employee benefits include:

  • Great leave benefits, including generous paid parental leave, various bonus leave entitlements and early access to long service leave

  • Access to a range of Club, sponsor and partner benefits including two Broncos Memberships per season

  • Weekly staff meals (one subsidised breakfast & lunch per week) courtesy of our in-house chef

  • Annual performance planning with tailored support for development including on the job training, conferences, workshops, development programs, formal study & volunteering opportunities
