Job summary

Jack's K9 Place in Morwell is seeking a reliable team member to care for dogs and cats. The role is 3–4 days per week, 8am to 5pm, with a generous 1.5–2 hour lunch break and a rotating weekend roster. There is some public holiday and Christmas work, and the animals require consistent attendance.

You’ll be working alongside people who share a passion for animals, and you must be able to handle the physical side of the job and travel to Morwell with your own transport.

We're a small, tight team that loves what we do, and we're looking for someone reliable to join us.

Jack's K9 Place is a busy boarding kennel and cattery in Morwell. People trust us with their dogs and cats while they're away, and that trust is built on showing up and doing the job properly. We look after each other so we can look after the animals, and we need someone who'll fit into that.

The role

3 or 4 days per week, 8am to 5pm. Most days you'll get a generous 1.5 to 2 hour lunch break in the middle of the day. There's a rotating weekend roster, plus some public holiday and Christmas work. The animals don't take a day off, so we need someone who'll turn up when rostered, every time.

You’ll be working alongside people who are just as passionate about animals as you are.

What we're looking for

Reliability first. Beyond that, we want someone with a genuine love of dogs and cats. You'll need to be comfortable with the messy, physical side of the job, be able to work unsupervised at times and and have your own transport to get to Morwell.
