Job summary

Green Point Christian College in the Central Coast of New South Wales seeks an experienced Christian educator to join the College Executive and lead our whole-school approach to Christian formation from Kindergarten to Year 12.

The Director of Formation will translate the College’s philosophy, Formation Framework and Learner Profile into everyday student experiences, overseeing pastoral care, chapel, ministry and mission across the two campuses.

Qualifications

• Must hold NSW/NESA Proficient Teacher accreditation and experience leading Christian formation in schools.
• Ability to translate educational philosophy into program design, resources and review.
• Strong pastoral sensitivity with collaborative leadership across portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Lead the College-wide formation across K–12 within the Formation Framework and Learner Profile.
• Provide strategic direction, standards, and quality review for formation programs and chaplaincy.
• Collaborate with Heads of School, Directors and Principal to implement a cohesive whole-school formation strategy.
