Job summary

Pepper Money Limited in Sydney is seeking a junior legal professional to support the Senior Legal Counsel and Treasury Team on funding and treasury matters. You will assist with document preparation, due diligence, and records management while building your understanding of warehouse facilities, securitisations and other funding arrangements in a supportive team environment.

You will collaborate with Treasury, Finance, Risk and Operations to respond to legal questions and support business

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Law required with 1 year of post-qualification experience.
• Interest in banking, finance, lending, mortgages or securitisation.
• Strong Word processing and document management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with drafting, reviewing and negotiating NDAs and other treasury documents under supervision.
• Support Senior Legal Counsel with securitisations, private placements, facilities, bonds and warehouse transactions.
• Assist with due diligence, transaction coordination, board papers, approvals and document execution.
• Maintain templates, precedents and guidelines for treasury processes.
• Conduct legal research and interpret finance regulations and listing rules.
• Engage with external counsel, funding partners, investors and lead arrangers.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal policies.
