Job summary
Macquarie Group’s Banking and Financial Services Treasury Legal team seeks a fully qualified lawyer with at least 4 years’ PQE in debt capital markets or banking and finance. The role involves negotiating, documenting and executing structured financing arrangements, including securitisation and derivatives.
You will project manage home loan risk reinsurance and work on a range of strategic funding initiatives, in a collaborative in-house environment in NSW, Australia.
Qualifications
- Fully qualified lawyer with a minimum of 4 years' PQE in debt capital markets or banking/finance law.
- Experience in private practice or in-house with transactional debt capital markets or banking and finance experience.
- Experience with structured finance (including securitisation), derivatives and/or insurance transactions is well regarded.
- Excellent organisation and stakeholder management with attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate, document, and execute structured finance funding transactions (including residential mortgage-backed securities and secured bond programs).
- Project manage the annual home loan risk reinsurance program and contribute to other strategic funding initiatives.
