Job summary

Macquarie Group, in-house Banking and Financial Services Treasury Legal, seeks a fully qualified lawyer with 4+ years PQE in debt capital markets or banking and finance to support funding transactions, including securitisation and covered bonds.

You will negotiate, document, and execute complex financings, while coordinating multiple stakeholders and managing key projects within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 4 years PQE in debt capital markets or banking and finance law.
• Experience in private practice or in-house with transactional debt capital markets or banking and finance experience.
• Strong drafting and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated legal support to the Banking & Financial Services Treasury Legal team.
• Negotiate, document and execute structured finance funding transactions including securitisation and covered bond programs.
• Project manage annual home loan risk reinsurance program and other strategic initiatives.
