Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related industry certifications is preferred.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in desktop engineering, helpdesk, or IT support roles.
• Proficiency in managing VMs, preferably with VMware technologies.
• Experience with Linux and Microsoft server technologies, including Active Directory, DHCP, and DNS.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS; experience preferred.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, with exposure to routing, firewalls, and switching; experience preferred.
• Scripting experience, preferably in PowerShell, with a willingness to learn new scripting languages.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while working autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end user support, swiftly resolving technical issues to Service Level Agreements.
• Manage and maintain client private cloud tenancies, leveraging VMware technologies such as ESXi, vCenter, vCloud Director and NSX-V.
• Support clients' private and public cloud services, including Microsoft 365 Suite, Azure, and AWS.
• Troubleshoot Linux and Microsoft server technologies, including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Docker.
• Implement robust security measures to safeguard information and applications while ensuring authentication services are robust.
• Develop automation scripts, primarily using PowerShell, to streamline operations and boost efficiency.
• Implement network configurations, troubleshoot issues, and drive improvements for both internal and client networks.
• Document standard operating procedures and policies to ensure clarity and consistency across operations.
• Collaborating on private cloud implementations and migrationsDriving public SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS implementations
