Job summary

DataMC is hiring a Junior Systems Administrator to join the Infrastructure and IT Operations team in Brisbane. This entry-level role offers practical training while you learn DataMC's systems and processes from the ground up, working with the Infrastructure Manager and technical team.

You will gain exposure to DM REVOLVE and engage in data migration tooling, ETL concepts, SQL debugging, and cross-country onboarding. A path to grow in security-conscious, process-driven environments is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role with practical training in DataMC's systems and processes.
• Study or experience in IT, CS, cybersecurity or data-related fields encouraged.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux is helpful; cloud concepts are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune and Azure for users.
• Prepare and manage Windows and Linux devices and accounts.
• Create and maintain user permissions and security groups.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding across countries.
• Troubleshoot device, software, access and connectivity issues.
• Support monitoring, backups, updates and patching.
• Investigate networking and cloud-service issues.
• Write and maintain technical documentation.
• Use PowerShell, Bash and Python for automation.
