ICC Sydney, a premier convention, exhibition and entertainment precinct, is seeking a motivated Junior Sous Chef. You will work with the Executive Sous Chef and Chef de Cuisine to supervise all food catering preparation while upholding our ISO 22000 standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within a high-volume environment.
• Knowledge of hospitality, convention and exhibition industry.
• Strong communication skills and adaptability.
• Ability to work with minimal external assistance.
• Passion for delivering exceptional event guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee team member management within the Production kitchen.
• Deliver high-standard preparation for all events and manage multiple sections.
• Assist with schedules, rostering and food preparation to world-class standards.
• Maintain food safety standards, presentation and cooking techniques per ICC Sydney guidelines.
• Embrace Feeding Your Performance with fresh, seasonal produce.
• Motivate and engage team members to sustain a high-performance culture.
• Manage day-to-day operation of Production kitchen including cost awareness.
