Job summary

Ryans Solicitors & Attorneys in Maroochydore, Queensland, is seeking a Junior Solicitor to join our legal team. This full-time role offers exposure across wills, estates, property and conveyancing, providing guidance to clients navigating sensitive matters.

You will draft wills, handle probate and conveyancing matters, and guide clients from instruction to settlement. Queensland solicitor admission is required; two years' experience preferred, with strong drafting and client communication skills

Qualifications

• Admission to practice as a solicitor in Queensland.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in practice preferred.
• Excellent drafting skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong client communication and interpersonal skills for sensitive matters.
• Empathetic and professional approach when working with clients.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities across multiple files.

Responsibilities

• Draft wills, powers of attorney, enduring powers of attorney and other estate planning documents.
• Advise clients on estate planning, trusts, succession planning and asset protection.
• Manage deceased estates, probate applications, letters of administration and distributions.
• Handle estate disputes, family provision claims and other succession matters.
• Manage residential and commercial conveyancing transactions, including sales, purchases and transfers.
• Draft and review contracts for sale, leases and other property-related documents.
• Advise clients on property law, contractual obligations, title issues and settlement requirements.
• Conduct property searches and due diligence, prepare settlement documentation and coordinate settlements.
• Liaise with clients, real estate agents, lenders and other solicitors to progress matters efficiently.
• Maintain accurate files, monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with legislation and professional obligations.
• Manage matters from initial instructions through to completion with clear, practical advice.
