St Hilda's School Gold Coast – Southport QLD is seeking a dedicated Teacher Aide to join our Junior School team. This fixed term, part-time role supports teaching staff and helps create a welcoming learning environment for Years 1 and 3 students.

The position runs Monday to Friday for 30 hours per week during term time, commencing 20 January 2027 and concluding 29 November 2027 with a likelihood of extension. Applicants should bring safety credentials and a passion for girls' education.

Competenze

• Current First Aid and CPR certificate, or willingness to obtain prior to appointment.
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) is required.
• Previous experience with primary-aged children in an educational setting is preferred.
• High professional and ethical standards.
• Genuine passion for educating and nurturing girls through their primary years.

Mansioni

• Provide in-class support to students, including those with additional learning needs.
• Assist teachers with preparation and organisation of learning materials and resources.
• Support small group and individual instruction under the direction of the classroom teacher.
• Assist with supervision of students during classroom activities, transitions, and breaks.
• Support implementation of individualised education plans and behaviour support plans.
• Foster a safe, inclusive learning environment and promote student wellbeing.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation and safety of teaching spaces.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative Junior School environment.
