Job summary

Brigidine College in Brisbane is seeking an experienced educational leader to join as Junior School Program Leader for Years 5 and 6. Reporting to the Principal, you will provide strategic leadership for learning, teaching and assessment across the Junior School.

You will work with staff, students and families to foster educational excellence, continuous improvement and high-quality teaching practice, while aligning with the Brigidine tradition and Catholic ethos.

Qualifications

• Commitment to the philosophy and values of a Catholic Brigidine school.
• Capacity to lead evidence-informed teaching, learning and assessment.
• Ability to use student data to improve literacy, numeracy and learning outcomes.
• Experience leading improvement and organisational change.
• High-level communication, collaboration, consultation, negotiation and organisational skills.
• Ongoing commitment to professional growth.
• Experience with Religious Education programs desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for learning, teaching and assessment across the Junior School (Years 5–6).
• Shape the vision and direction of the Junior School and contribute to whole-school initiatives.
• Lead and mentor staff to foster outstanding teaching and wellbeing outcomes.
• Commence Term 1, 2027 with a four-year leadership appointment.
