Job summary

moomoo ANZ is seeking a Junior Risk Manager to support end-to-end risk framework development for margin lending and options in ANZ. You will work under senior risk staff to embed risk considerations in product development, ensuring prudent leverage and client protection in line with Australian regulations.

You will assist in maintaining risk parameters, conducting stress testing, and supporting governance, compliance and reporting across front-to-back processes with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree requirement; CFA/FRM preferred.
• 1–2 years in risk management, operations or compliance in brokers/banks; exposure to margin lending or options advantageous.
• Foundational understanding of Australian regulations (AFS, responsible lending, complex products).
• Familiarity with portfolio metrics, margin methodologies and stress testing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Support the risk framework for ASX margin lending and listed options.
• Assist in risk input on product roadmaps and design specifications.
• Help maintain client segmentation, trading permissions and suitability assessments.
• Monitor exposures, conduct stress testing and back-testing; escalate Breaches.
• Prepare risk reports for management, committees and regulators.
