Job summary

Castle Controls is seeking a Planning Engineer (Early Career) to support scheduling across oil & gas and mining projects. You will work on multiple project types and adapt to different client environments while building your project controls capability.

You will develop, baseline, and maintain schedules, monitor progress, and prepare structured reports. Collaboration with client managers and controls professionals is essential to deliver clear, reliable outputs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any discipline) is mandatory.
• 2–5 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, or project controls on capital projects.
• Exposure to oil and gas operator or major project environments; experience with schedule reports and progress data.

Responsibilities

• Develop, baseline, maintain schedules across multiple project phases.
• Monitor progress and prepare structured schedule reporting for decision-making.
• Collaborate within integrated project controls teams (cost, risk, planning).
• Contribute to development of planning standards, tools, and templates.
