Job summary

Mills Oakley in Adelaide is seeking a Law Graduate or Junior Lawyer to join the Workplace Relations, Employment & Safety team, working with Patrick Walsh. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a broad range of employment, industrial relations, discrimination, investigations, and safety matters.

You will be supported to develop technical and commercial skills while handling a diverse workload, including employment litigation and advocacy before tribunals and courts.

Qualifications

• Completed or near completion of LLB
• Eligible for admission, or up to 2 years post-admission experience
• Strong communication and organisational skills

Responsibilities

• Assist on employment and industrial relations advice
• Assist with workers' compensation investigations and disputes
• Support workplace investigations and disciplinary processes
• Handle discrimination, bullying and harassment matters
• Assist with enterprise bargaining and industrial disputes
• Provide workplace health and safety advice
• Assist with employment litigation and dispute resolution
• Prepare advocacy for matters before the Fair Work Commission and courts
