Job summary

S7 Talent Pty Ltd in Brisbane South is seeking a motivated Junior Insurance Broker to join a well-established brokerage. You\'ll work closely with an experienced Account Manager, receive mentoring, structured training, and hands-on exposure to a diverse portfolio of commercial clients while learning to manage a small domestic portfolio.

This role is ideal for an insurance professional early in their broking career who wants to develop technical knowledge and client-management skills.

Qualifications

• Tier 1/ Tier 2 Insurance Broking qualifications.
• Experience in insurance broking, admin, or underwriting support.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in management and servicing of a commercial insurance portfolio.
• Prepare policy documentation, renewals, endorsements, and quotations.
• Liaise with clients, underwriters, and insurers on policy requirements.
• Handle client inquiries with exceptional service.
• Learn technical aspects of commercial insurance products and risk placement.
• Progressively manage a small domestic portfolio with guidance.
• Build strong relationships with clients and insurer partners.

The Opportunity:

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a motivated and career-driven Junior Insurance Broker to join their well-established and highly respected brokerage located in South of Brisbane. Working closely alongside an experienced Account Manager, you will receive ongoing mentoring, structured training, and hands-on exposure to a diverse portfolio of commercial clients whilst learning to manage a smaller portfolio of domestic accounts.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an insurance professional who is early in their broking career and looking to develop their technical knowledge and client management skills. You'll be supported every step of the way as you learn the fundamentals of managing client relationships, placing insurance programs, and ultimately growing into managing your own portfolio.

Key responsibilities:

• Assisting with the management and servicing of a commercial insurance portfolio
• Preparing policy documentation, renewals, endorsements, and quotations
• Liaising with clients, underwriters, and insurers regarding policy requirements

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Tier 1/Tier 2 Insurance Broking qualifications
• Previous experience within insurance broking, insurance administration, underwriting support, or a similar insurance-related role
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
