Flight Centre Travel Group in Brisbane seeks a Junior Full Stack Engineer to own front-end and back-end work across streams, designing, building, testing and releasing features end to end. Focus on reliable, scalable solutions delivering value for customers in an agile setting.

You will work with Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, HTML and JavaScript, crafting high-quality code, contributing to testing and documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to lift conversions across travel

Qualifications

• 1–3 years professional software development experience.
• Experience as a full-stack engineer delivering end-to-end experiences.
• Proven ability to build user-friendly, responsive web apps for desktop and mobile.
• Proficiency in modern JavaScript (TypeScript, HTML, JS) and styling with Styled Components.
• Experience with Next.js and Node.js for high-traffic apps.
• Experience with unit/UI tests using Playwright.
• Experience with application monitoring using Splunk and New Relic.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop and deploy web applications and APIs with HTML, CSS, JS, and Next.js.
• Craft high quality, secure, maintainable code.
• Ensure reliability and performance through testing and observability.
• Analyse requirements and solve problems for customers.
• Participate in code reviews to uphold quality and standards.
• Maintain documentation across codebases and architectures.
• Collaborate in cross-functional Digital Commerce teams in an agile environment.
