Job summary

PMY Group in Sydney is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support the reliability, automation and continuous improvement of TechMedia’s technology platforms and digital signage environments.

Reporting to the Head of Technology, this is an early-career role designed for someone with 1–2 years’ experience who wants to build strong foundations and grow into a broader DevOps and platform engineering role.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of DevOps, cloud, systems or tech ops experience.
• Foundational AWS knowledge and modern infrastructure practices.
• Basic scripting and automation understanding; familiarity with CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Support cloud infrastructure, servers and platform services.
• Assist deployments, configuration management and release processes.
• Automate repetitive tasks with scripts and tooling.
• Maintain monitoring, dashboards and logs for visibility.
• Support patching, backups, DR testing and security practices.
• Troubleshoot across digital signage networks and endpoints.
• Document configurations and operational runbooks.
