Job summary

TechMedia (a PMY company) in Sydney is seeking a DevOps Engineer to strengthen reliability, automation and platform operations across cloud systems and digital signage. This early-career role targets 1-2 years of experience, with opportunities to grow into broader DevOps and platform engineering responsibilities while supporting multiple customer environments and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience in DevOps or similar tech ops role.
• Foundational AWS experience and modern infrastructure understanding.
• Linux and/or Windows administration, basic networking knowledge.
• Scripting/automation with Python, PowerShell or Bash.
• Basic Git, APIs, CI/CD concepts and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Support cloud infrastructure, servers and platform services.
• Assist deployments, configuration management and release processes.
• Automate repetitive tasks with scripts and workflows.
• Maintain monitoring, alerts, dashboards and logs.
• Support patching, backups, DR testing and security basics.
• Support CMS, devices and monitoring for digital signage networks.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, API, device and cloud issues.
• Create and maintain runbooks and technical documentation.
