Central Coast Council NSW is seeking an emerging planning professional to assess development applications, conduct site inspections and contribute to land use planning outcomes on the Central Coast. You will work with experienced planners, building expertise through hands-on assessment, research and stakeholder engagement.
The role offers a temporary full-time contract with hybrid and flexible working arrangements, including a 9-day fortnight, located at Wyong Administrative Building.
Join our Development Planning team and play a key role in shaping the future of the Central Coast by assessing development applications, undertaking site inspections, and contributing to land use planning outcomes. Working alongside experienced planners, you'll build your expertise through hands-on application assessment, research, stakeholder engagement, and participation in planning meetings and projects. The commencing salary for this position is up to $80,030.20. Central Coast Council also provides progression opportunities for employees to progress up to the maximum salary of $92,727.03 on completion of assessment of skills and performance plus 12% superannuation
