About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Data Scientist to join our team and support lawyers in client-facing roles by transforming complex data into meaningful insights. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of data analytics and business strategy, helping bring data to life through creative visualizations and compelling narratives that inform client decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with lawyers and client teams to understand data needs and objectives.
  • Collect, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and interactive visualizations to present insights in an engaging and client-friendly format.
  • Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to identify trends, patterns, and predictive insights.
  • Translate technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support the development of data-driven strategies for client matters and internal projects.
  • Ensure data integrity, compliance, and confidentiality in all analyses.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Python or R for data analysis; experience with SQL is a plus.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
  • Understanding of statistical modeling and basic machine learning concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex data simply.
  • Creative mindset for presenting data in visually compelling ways.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience
  • Exposure to legal, consulting, or professional services environments.
  • Experience working with large datasets and data wrangling.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is advantageous.
