Job summary

DUAL is seeking an Underwriter - Commercial to join our Sydney Underwriting team. You will work with experienced underwriters to develop technical underwriting capability across Financial Lines, General Liability, and Accident & Health, while building broker relationships and handling a broad range of risks.

You will respond to broker enquiries, support underwriting decisions, and grow your knowledge across multiple product lines.

Qualifications

• Experience in the insurance industry, ideally within a policy administration, insurance administration or assistant underwriting role.

Responsibilities

• Manage and service an SME renewal portfolio through the DUAL Webrater, our online tracking platform
• Build and maintain strong broker relationships through regular engagement and proactive communication
• Respond to broker enquiries and provide timely underwriting support
• Develop your underwriting knowledge and technical expertise across multiple product lines
• Support business development activities through broker outreach and relationship building
