Job summary

Synechron in Sydney is hiring a Junior Business Analyst with strong Cards & Payments experience. The contract role is hybrid (3 days in office) and initially for 6 months with potential extension.

The ideal candidate will understand credit/debit cards, payment workflows, and transaction processing, and will gather requirements, prepare BRDs/FRDs, and coordinate with stakeholders. Agile/Scrum exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Business Analyst in Banking/Financial Services domain.
• Strong understanding of Cards and Payments, including credit/debit cards, transaction processing, and payment workflows.
• Experience in gathering business requirements, preparing BRDs/FRDs, and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Skilled in requirement analysis, process mapping, gap analysis, and UAT support.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather business requirements and prepare BRDs/FRDs.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across business, technology and operations.
• Support user acceptance testing and ensure smooth delivery.
