Job summary

Codafication is seeking an entry-level Business Analyst in Brisbane to join a collaborative team and build skills in digital transformation projects. You will work alongside experienced Business Analysts, Product and Software Engineering teams to gather requirements and support delivery in an Agile environment.

This role is ideal for someone with around 6 to 12 months of relevant experience who is keen to develop practical business analysis skills and gain hands-on experience in our insurance

Qualifications

• 6 to 12 months of relevant experience in business analysis, IT or a related role.
• Exposure to the insurance industry would be an advantage.
• Basic understanding of Agile principles and a willingness to learn how they are applied in software delivery.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to ask questions, listen carefully and build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Prior experience using JIRA or Confluence would be helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist with stakeholder workshops and meetings by preparing materials, taking notes, recording decisions and following up on actions.
• Preparing and maintaining project documentation, including process maps, meeting notes and functional requirements, with guidance from experienced team members.
• Supporting communication between technical and non-technical teams, helping clarify requirements and track follow-up actions.
• Assisting with user acceptance testing by preparing test scenarios, recording feedback and tracking issues.
• Helping maintain project updates and reports to give the team visibility of progress, outstanding actions and potential issues.

This entry-level opportunity is ideal for someone with around 6 to 12 months of relevant experience who is keen to build their Business Analysis skills and gain hands‑on experience in digital transformation projects.

Working alongside experienced Business Analysts, Product and Software Engineering teams, you’ll help gather requirements, document business needs and support the delivery and ongoing improvement of Codafication’s products in an Agile environment.
