Job summary

1300apprentice is offering a hands-on 1st Year Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Boilermaking/Welding) apprenticeship in Sydney. You’ll rotate between workshop and site-based tasks, building skills in structural steel fabrication, welding, installation and maintenance.

No previous experience required; a valid driver’s licence helps. The employer provides uniform and tools and may fund industry tickets as you progress toward the trade qualification.

Qualifications

• Interest in metal fabrication, welding and engineering.
• Willing to learn in workshop and on-site environments.
• No prior experience required, but a positive attitude is valued.

Responsibilities

• Work in workshop and on-site across fabrication activities.
• Assist welding, metalwork and structural steel fabrication tasks.
• Support finishing, installation and maintenance projects.
• Learn from experienced tradespeople toward the qualification.
