Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping, journals and reconciliations.
• Preparation of Tax Compliance for all entity types including Tax Returns, Financial Statements, IAS's BAS's, CGT, Div 7A and FBT calculations.
• Processing pays via STP and processing superannuation guarantees; Preparing Individual Tax Returns.
• BAS/IAS preparation.
• ATO processes and correspondence.
• Answering incoming phone calls and assisting with general client enquiries including booking client appointments.
• Making outgoing calls and following up with clients when required.
• Responding to client emails.
• Preparing, collating and filing client documents.

We are seeking a Junior Accountant / Assistant Accountant with an accounting background and some administration experience to join our accounting practice in Greenslopes. The successful candidate will have day-to-day accounting and tax-related responsibilities and provide administration assistance when required. This role is offered as a part-time or fulltime position, for the candidate.
