Job summary

Climatrol Airconditioning in Brisbane offers an apprenticeship in a family-owned HVAC business with 35+ years serving the area. You will learn diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, assembly tasks and administration under qualified tradespeople, while attending classes and on-the-job training for a long-term career.

You are expected to bring a valid driver’s license, a White-Card (or willingness to obtain one), and a strong willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate a hands-on, mechanical aptitude and reliability.
• Commitment to learning through on-the-job and training sessions.
• Willingness to perform physical work and work in varying conditions.
• Will provide own transport and hold a current driver’s license.
• Hold a White-Card or be prepared to obtain one.
• Show genuine interest in starting a trade in HVAC.

Responsibilities

• Learn diagnostics, repairs and maintenance of HVAC equipment.
• Work under qualified trades personnel for guidance and safety.
• Attend training days and on-the-job classes to gain skills.
• Contribute to project tasks and customer service during installation jobs.

We are a family-owned HVAC business that has been supporting Brisbane residents for over 35 years. Successfully managing commercial and residential projects, no two days are ever the same.

We are offering an apprenticeship to a successful applicant in our Brisbane location for immediate start.

The role:

You will be paid while you attend classes and on the job training, in accordance with your training agreement and participate in HVAC training sessions/days. Working on HVAC equipment and being guided and instructed by qualified Trade personnel, you will learn: - diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, assembly, and administration. You will gain valuable hands-on experience, skills and support and secure a long-term career that could set you up for life.
